Our Rainbow Brain Journey
Raising Rainbow Brains was born from our family’s journey, a path filled with color, complexity,
challenges, and wonder.
I’m a mom of two incredible neurodivergent kids who see and feel the world in beautifully unique ways. One of the earliest signs that something was different, yet beautiful, was my daughter’s intense need for everything to be in rainbow order.
From toys and clothes to snacks and schoolwork, she didn’t just like rainbows; she needed them and saw them everywhere. I fully believe it was her way of creating structure in a world that often felt overwhelming.
At first, we didn’t understand. But over time, that rainbow ordering became more than a symptom of autism; it became a symbol of how her mind worked: vivid, creative, intricate, and wonderfully different.
What started as a personal journey to understand and support our children turned into a mission: to help other families feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Through storytelling, I aimed to provide kids with characters they could relate to and offer parents language, hope, and a sense of belonging.
Thank you for being part of it.
With Love,
Elise Ann
